So, some of you know, my bigger sis is very great at cooking. She makes really delicious meals, snacks and real good smoothies. I forgot to mention that sometimes she makes up her own recipe and it comes out really delish!😋😋😋
So one day, bigger sis, said to me, " D, I am making pizza for us and would make it from the scratch" Immediately, I started to laugh so hard and said to her that I think it was a better idea to just order for Pizza @ Dominos. In few minutes, we would have it delivered right to our door step. No stress at all, everyone is fine and we would have had a nice meal. Contrary to my suggestion, Bigger sis insisted that she would do home made pizza.
Before I could say, " Jack Robinson" Bigger sis had made very good progress with the preparation of the pizza. In less than two hours the pizza was ready. Once she was done, she said, "D, the pizza is ready, come have a taste". I was not quite sure how the pizza would taste; so I had a small piece. The small piece I had was heavenly😋😋😋. As I write to you, I am salivating, remembering that beautiful afternoon when I tasted the home made pizza made by my sis.
I kept going for more and had to apologise for thinking she could not make pizza as great as Dominos or even better. Guys, this pizza tasted great! I always love to take pictures of food, places, and myself so this pizza was not going to be an exception. Before I had a small piece to taste, I decided to take a picture of it, and that is what you have up there.
Whilst thinking of what to share with you; I remembered this story, and thought to let you know that you are able to do things that you haven't even done before. My bigger sis had not made home made pizza prior to that time and guess what? It was the most delish pizza I had ever tasted. No kidding.
Yes there could be a lot of discouragers around you telling you how they think you can not do what you want to do. They could even give very valid reasons on why another option is better? I was the discourager this time around😕😕😕. But you know what? Do not listen to them. My bigger sis loves me a lot but guess what? She refused to listen to what I said and went ahead to do what was on her mind. When she was done; I enjoyed it and had more portions than the person who made the pizza😆😆😆.
One thing I also learnt from this personal experience is do not be the person who would put people's dreams down with what you say or do. If you do not have something great to say, then it would be great to stay quiet.
Do not be the person who is always negative and discourages when another party wants to try out new things..
